Former UFC women’s champion Cris Cyborg Agrees To Train With Indian MMA Star Ritu Phogat

In October 2016, Phogat won her second consecutive title at the annual National Wrestling Championships.

Ritu Phogat wished Cris Cyborg on her birthday on Twitter and she asked her to do training together one day

In December 2016, she became the most expensive female wrestler at the Pro Wrestling League, during auction bagging a ₹36 lakh contract with the Jaipur Ninjas franchise.

On November 2017 she won silver in the 48kg category in World U-23 Wrestling Championships.

Ritu Phogat made her MMA debut in 2019 against Nam Hee Kim at ‘One Championship Age of Dragon’s first-round knockout to notch the win.
